Belle’s landlord Kim gets in touch to warn her that Dale Head has been left in a state. There’d been no problem when Belle was last there, so she heads to the cottage with Lydia to investigate what has happened.
Tom recently removed his hidden spycams from the property, but Belle finds one that he forgot to collect. She’s horrified by the realisation that Tom was secretly watching her after she ended their relationship.
Lydia encourages Belle to report Tom to the police over the hidden cameras and the other examples of his abuse. Belle remains reluctant, as she’s intimidated by the thought of reliving the trauma and potentially sharing personal footage in court.
Belle questions Lydia on her experience of reporting Craig Reed to the police. It’s emotional for Lydia as she talks about her own past, but she hopes she has done enough to convince Belle to report Tom.
Amelia informs Belle that she has reconsidered her loyalty towards Tom and wants to meet up to discuss the situation further.
Belle waits for Amelia to arrive at Wishing Well cottage, but Tom turns up instead. After sneaking in through the back door, Tom locks the exits and tries to stop Belle from leaving. Has Amelia teamed up with Tom to set Belle up?
Victoria tries to show John some old family photos, but he seems more interested in scrolling through his phone. She grabs the device and is surprised to spot that John is still texting Aaron.
Wondering how serious this relationship is, Victoria questions John on his secret links to Aaron. She doesn’t get much information from John, but this only leaves her more determined to find out what else he is hiding.
