Will panics when his mystery blackmailer increases the cash demand to £50,000. This is a harsh punishment for Will, who missed the initial cash drop-off when he was distracted by the fire drama at Moira’s barn.
Caleb hands over £40,000 to Will, which helps him to make up the shortfall. Will texts the blackmailer to confirm that he has the cash.
Next on Will’s agenda is coming clean to Jimmy about his unexpected deal with Caleb. Jimmy is livid over Will going behind his back over such major changes to the business.
Just when Will thought his ordeal was coming to an end, he returns to Home Farm and finds that Kim is missing. The blackmailer makes another call, announcing that Kim has been abducted.
Will’s unknown enemy lures him out to a woodland area to rescue Kim. There’s a creepy turn of events when Will finds a mannequin dressed like Kim, which goads him further into the woods.
Jai accepts some advice from Charles, who thinks he should do everything he can to get back on better terms with Arthur.
Things get off to a bad start when Arthur continues to ignore his stepdad, unwilling to forgive him for the way he has treated Laurel.
Arthur enjoys a secret date with newcomer Lewis at Mulberry Cottage. The lads have beers together, with Arthur hoping that Laurel won’t find out.
Later, Jai spots Arthur and Lewis disposing of the empty cans. Arthur notices Jai staring and worries that he’ll cause trouble by telling Laurel the truth. Could this be Jai’s chance to get back in Arthur’s good books?
