After an interview with a psychiatrist, the show expressed concerns that participating in the show might trigger a relapse into anorexia for her.
Disagreeing with this assessment, the actress felt discriminated against and believed she could have excelled in the jungle. But now, after eight years, the conversation around mental health has evolved. However, Oaten confessed, “But yeah, I was quite burned by that.”
