Emmerdale fans think they’ve finally rumbled Ella Forster’s secret, as her recent behaviour teased she was up to no good.

It had been teased she had a huge secret away from the village after her arrival earlier this year, and since then she’s been acting a little off. In the latest episode of the ITV soap she concerned her partner Liam Cavanagh, as their day out at the village fete ended abruptly.

He had been worried about her after she seemed to be on edge, and then when they were having lunch in the pub she suddenly lashed out. The fete photographer was going around and taking pictures of people to promote the day, most likely going online if not in a local paper.

As soon as she realised pictures were being taken of her she freaked out, and hid her face from view. She firmly told the photographer and Liam she didn’t want her picture taken, adding she had not given permission.

Suddenly she claimed to feel unwell and that she had to leave, as she fled the pub leaving Liam baffled. Viewers watching the scenes unfold were quick to predict a witness protection twist, and that this was why she was hiding.

While some fans wondered if she had been in prison and was starting her life over again, one theory read that perhaps she was in hiding and her identity needed to be covered up. It comes a day on from Ella snapping at Mandy Dingle over a photo, after it was revealed she was living out of her car. Amid her romance with Liam, he offered her a place to stay and Mandy was helping her with her things.

Mandy picked up a photograph of two young girls and wondered who they were, leading to Ella snapping. She called Mandy out and grabbed the picture from her, and viewers saw it in full view.

It wasn’t clear who the girls were, but it’s thought from Ella’s reaction she is one of them, and she certainly knows the other mystery person. Ella apologised for snapping and claimed she was protective of her belongings, with Mandy leaving the room.
