Emmerdale is set to be rocked by a huge fire – and fans think they’ve worked out which villager will lose their life following reports the actor has quit the ITV soap
ITV recently confirmed an explosive stunt would soon rock Emmerdale. Last week, Show Producer Sophie Roper teased viewers by mentioning this: “What I can tell you is there will be fire engines involved.”
Roper added: “So take from that what you will. It’s going to be a really explosive week of Emmerdale,” sparking off filming for the thrilling fire plotline this week.
On-set photos of the fiery barn expose Cain Dingle, portrayed by Jeff Hordley, and Emmerdale newcomer John Sugden, played by Oliver Farnworth, hauling a body from the raging flames. Beth Cordingly’s character, Ruby Fox-Miligan, was also spotted covered in soot and grime.
A source disclosed to The Sun saying, “The soap is pushing the boat out with the big scenes but it looks like at least two huge characters are facing death”, reports the Express.
Though suspected victims might be Ruby and Cain’s spouse Moira (Natalie J. Robb), crowd predictions lean toward a much-adored villager meeting their end.
On social media platforms, viewers speculate that Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) may be doomed, referring to the recent announcement of actor Jurell Carter leaving the series.
In an online forum dedicated to Emmerdale discussions, one user theorised: “Wonder if Nate dies then… If Cain is involved maybe Cain tries to save Nate or something.”
One fan tweeted: “Yeah. I mean, maybe there’s a chance they kill off Nate or something like that but even then it would just set Cain back.”
The news broke in June that Jurrell Carter is set to say his goodbyes to Emmerdale after five years on the show. He first graced our screens as Cain’s long-lost son in 2019, diving straight into a steamy affair with his dad’s missus Moira.
