Six nominees – seven if you include Piper the dog – recently took time out from their busy filming schedules to get glammed up and pose for some exclusive pictures which appear in this week’s issue of Inside Soap.
Digital Spy was present on the day too, as we travelled to Leeds alongside the Inside Soap team to shoot a behind-the-scenes video showing the cast in action.
We spoke to each of the stars involved, so you won’t want to miss our full footage and teaser chats at the top of the page.
Unsurprisingly, Eden Taylor-Draper and James Chase were among those taking centre stage on the day after their hard work in Emmerdale’s biggest plot of the year.
The pair’s characters Belle and Tom King are currently featuring in a long-running domestic violence storyline, so the shoot gave them a rare chance to showcase their positive off-screen dynamic.
Eden and James had a ball while posing for pictures together, celebrating their nomination in the Best Storyline category. Meanwhile, Eden is also up for Best Actress and James is in the running for Best Villain.
Soapland’s cutest pooch Minnie, who plays Piper the dog, even came along to make sure that nobody forgot about her nomination in the Best Pet category.
Meanwhile, Olivia Bromley and Jay Kontzle were also part of the shoot after an emotional year on screen for their characters Dawn and Billy Fletcher.
Emmerdale has been exploring how Dawn, Billy and their loved ones have been affected by baby Evan’s leukaemia diagnosis. This has earned the Tate-Taylors of Home Farm a nomination for Best Family.
Lisa Riley (Mandy Dingle) and Beth Cordingly (Ruby Fox-Miligan) were present on the day too, celebrating their own nods on the longlist. Lisa is up for Best Comic Performance, while Beth is in the running for Best Newcomer and Best Villain.
The full interviews and pictures appear in the new issue of Inside Soap, which has been released today (August 13).
Coronation Street and Hollyoaks’ nominees photoshoots have appeared in recent weeks, while EastEnders will complete the set when it features in next week’s issue.
Voting for the Inside Soap Awards remains open via the Inside Soap website.
