Needing advice on how to deal with the situation, Will tries to get in touch with Kim, who’s still away in Dubai. When Kim fails to pick up the phone, Will starts to wonder if their marriage is over.
Dawn announces that Evan might need a bone marrow transplant, so she wants to contact Rose to ask whether she’ll get tested. Will’s worries intensify as he realises how determined Dawn will be to track down Rose.
Later, Will pulls out Rose’s phone and listens to a voicemail from Dawn. His cover-up continues as he sneakily composes a message on Rose’s phone.
Laurel approaches Gabby about the possibility of buying Jai’s shares in The Hide.
Gabby gets on board with the idea and shocks Jai by announcing Laurel as the business’s newest investor.
Jai and Laurel attend a mediation session at Mulberry Cottage. Jai shocks Laurel by announcing that he has sold Holdgate Farm and Tenant’s Cottage, so won’t be able to give her anything as a divorce settlement.
Later, Jai feels guilty over his behaviour but his ruthless actions are backed up by Caleb, who claims that he doesn’t owe Laurel anything.
Mandy pampers Ella for her 30th birthday, giving her a full beauty treatment at the salon. However, she crosses the line by posting the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos on the salon’s social media pages without Ella’s permission.
Ella reacts badly to Mandy’s mistake, reminding her that she’s trying to keep a low profile due to her dark past. Liam is concerned as he spots Ella smashing up her own birthday cake and storming off.
Liam manages to talk Ella round and convinces her to attend her birthday party. However, the day takes another turn for the worse when June’s relative Gary arrives in the village and confronts Ella over her dark past.
