Emmerdale bosses previously revealed that Tom and Belle’s dark story would run until the end of the year. With the autumn now here, it seems that we could be about to head into the final chapter.

New spoilers have revealed that Belle will consider reporting Tom to the police next week, as she’s sickened when she finds one of the hidden cameras he was using to spy on her.

As Belle weighs up what to do, an emotional chat with Lydia Dingle could prove to be the inspiration she needs to speak out.

Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays Belle, told us: “Belle being open and honest with Lydia – and Lydia being the same back – really gives her clarity on what she should do next.”

Digital Spy released some exclusive quotes from Coronation Street’s Gareth Pierce this week, as he revealed plans for his character Todd Grimshaw to get a story of his own in the coming months.

Todd has largely played a supporting role in Paul and Billy’s story this year, but in his chat with us, Gareth confirmed that the door is left open for his character’s recent love interest Moses.

Gareth explained: “Whether that does swoop back around at some point, I think there’s definitely a sense that we want to play a relationship story with Todd at some point in the near future.

“I’m definitely interested in what’s next for Todd and I’m assured that there’s stuff to come.”

Yolande Trueman’s emotional EastEnders storyline will return to the forefront of the soap early next month.

More details will be revealed in the coming days, but some early teaser spoilers have revealed that Yolande is “floored by some news” in the episode airing on Tuesday, October 1.
