Emmerdale death ‘sealed’ for Will Taylor as Kim Tate plans revenge with mystery accomplice

Kim Tate may decide to kill another one of her husbands in a brutal plot against Will Taylor – but some Emmerdale watchers believe she may be helped by a secret partner in crime.

Reluctant to forgive her cheating husband Will (portrayed by Dean Andrews), Kim was confronted with her own wrongdoings when he discovered she’d blackmailed him as revenge for his romp with his ex Rose Jackson.

During this Monday’s (September 23, 2024) instalment of the ITV soap, their row took bitter proportions when the businesswoman played by Claire King had to fight for her assets as Will decided to take half of what she owns, despite their pre-nuptial agreement. Online,

however, some fans began to wonder how Kim had managed to fool Will on her own, insisting she would have needed help for the grisly stunt she pulled on him.

As tensions continued to grow between the pair, many viewers of the Yorkshire-based programme took to Twitter, now X, expecting Kim to eliminate her husband, years after taking down Frank Tate, Caleb Miligan’s father. Speaking of which, Caleb made his allegiance clear by giving him an urgent loan – though his intentions remain debatable.

“Kim needs to be rid of Will & then go after Caleb’s little business”, a fan penned online while another agreed: “Will’s going to be filling that grave in the woods for real if he takes on Kim.” A third jumped in: “Kim is the ultimate black widow.”

Another theory soon emerged however, as another handful of viewers believed Will could be blackmailed with one of his own crimes: “Why isn’t Kim threatening Will with the body of the dead policeman Dawn killed and Will buried on Kim’s land?” One viewer quickly argued: “She can’t cos she got rid of the body so there’s no evidence & she’d be incriminating herself.” But could Kim find a loophole?

And while Will has, so far, seemingly earned Caleb’s support until proven otherwise, one fan over on Reddit hinted at the possibility that Kim may also have an accomplice. “There’s no way Kim would get her hands dirty, so who dug the hole and carried the coffin etc?”, they wondered, leaving one fan to respond: “I think it was Billy. Kim gave him that wad of notes Dawn found.” Another agreed: “I think it was billy.”

Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) and his wife Dawn (Olivia Bromley) recently left Home Farm, moving into Holdgate Farm after the latter found out about Will and Kim’s plan to push her mother Rose out of the Dales. The hunk was most recently seen taking a mysterious phone call – could it have a link to Kim?
