At Butler’s, Moira and Ruby talk about their recent troubles and put their old war aside.

Moira confides in her former nemesis about her health worries and Ruby opens up about her mum’s cremation.

PC Swirling questions Aaron about some stolen smart watches when his car was pictured driving from the scene of the crime.

John interrupts but Aaron feigns total innocence. Aaron’s smug when Swirling finds no evidence and John is none the wiser.

When Mack suggests using John’s van to get rid of the smart-watches, Aaron’s interest is piqued. Uptight John won’t let anyone use his van, so Aaron swipes the keys when he’s distracted.

Mack and Aaron’s plan comes into play as they load the watches into the van, but later Aaron’s unhappy to find all the watches missing.

Suspicious of their weird behaviour, Nicola tries to figure out what’s wrong with Laurel and Charles. When the truth is out and Nicola demands to know why their dalliance is over, Laurel is torn.
