SHOCKING NEWS!! Emmerdale’s Caleb Miligan to be caught out over death secret

Last month, Caleb had a secret meeting at the hospital with Ruby’s mum Helen, who’d been in touch to reveal that she was dying.

Caleb struggled to show much sympathy for Helen, who’d cut Ruby out of her life 30 years earlier.

Never one to miss an opportunity, Caleb demanded a £100,000 bribe from Helen in return for bringing Ruby to see her before she died.

This delay meant that Helen passed away before she had a chance to reconcile with Ruby. Caleb felt guilty when Helen’s money later arrived in his bank account.

Next week, Ruby is surprised to receive delivery of her late mother’s ashes, and she makes a defiant decision over how best to dispose of them.

Ruby then drowns her sorrows in The Woolpack, where Chas Dingle offers some advice. Chas suggests that Ruby should contact the hospital to find out what Helen’s last words were, as this could give her closure.

Taking this on board, Ruby contacts the hospital and is shocked to learn that Helen was asking for her and hanging on for a reconciliation before she passed away.

The revelations continue as Ruby finds out that Caleb visited Helen at the hospital before her death – a key detail that he’d failed to mention to her.
