Paddy and Mandy Dingle have tied the knot following a day of drama in Emmerdale.

The pair’s wedding was thrown into chaos earlier this week when Bear revealed to son Paddy that Mandy was secretly working as an online dominatrix for extra cash.

Thursday’s (August 15) double bill saw Vinny and Mandy getting ready for the ceremony, having no idea of what Paddy had just found out.

Paddy’s father Bear continued to share his doubts about the wedding going forward, while Marlon interjected to try to defend Mandy.

Both were shocked when a forlorn Paddy suddenly decided he didn’t want to marry Mandy because she’d been keeping secrets from him again.

While Marlon was desperate to convince Paddy to go ahead with the ceremony, Bear turned up at the salon to announce that he’d been Mandy’s secret client.

Mandy was horrified as Bear gleefully announced that the wedding was off! Mandy rushed off to find Paddy but had to do some serious explaining to change his mind.

Once Paddy found out that Mandy was trying to clear their debts, he assured his bride-to-be: “You’re amazing… We’re a team. Your problems are our problems.”

With the wedding back on, the couple faced another hitch since Bear had spitefully cancelled all their plans. Mandy and Paddy enlisted Charles to conduct a makeshift ceremony at the church.

At the Woolpack reception that night, Paddy told friends and family that the wedding was the start of his “amazing, beautiful, perfect future” with Mandy.

“Thank you for being my wife, my soulmate and my Cinderella,” Paddy told Mandy. “No-one should miss a second chance at happiness. So, I’m grabbing mine with both hands and never letting go.”

The Dingles celebrated the newlyweds’ big day as the episode finished.
