Brenda Walker is horrified when she discovers Pollard was behind Victoria losing her job as The Hide’s head chef back in April. He had blackmailed Jai Sharma into sacking Victoria, after she broke up with Pollard’s grandson Jacob Gallagher.
After learning this, Brenda is angry and demands that Eric puts things right, so he agrees to offer Victoria a job in the shop instead.
Victoria is grateful for Eric’s help, but Brenda’s still not impressed with Pollard when she realises that he still hasn’t told Victoria the truth about what he did.
With Brenda piling on the pressure, guilty Pollard finally admits to Victoria that he forced Jai into sacking her from The Hide. Victoria is furious and makes it clear exactly what she thinks of Pollard, unleashing her anger over his role in her recent struggles.
Pollard tries to defend himself, but Victoria is too upset and can’t get over his cruel actions.
Victoria tries to open up to Aaron Dingle over the revelations, but Aaron is distracted by someone on his phone.
When he suggests that Victoria could find a way to use the situation to her advantage, she considers his suggestion. What will Victoria do?
Next week will be filled with drama for Victoria, as she’ll also meet village newcomer John Sugden for the first time.
After she encounters John at the funeral service for one of Eric’s old friends, Pollard admits that John could be Victoria’s dad Jack’s son, making him her half-brother.
Victoria is delighted to have potentially met a new family member – but John’s presence in the village will soon be ruffling feathers among the residents.
