Emmerdale’s Kim Tate makes ominous threat as Will turns nasty

Kim Tate has made an ominous threat toward her estranged husband Will Taylor in Emmerdale.

Will discovered last week that Kim was behind several recent blackmail threats when she tricked him into bringing £40k into the woods as ransom after faking her kidnapping.

Kim eventually made off with the money, before announcing she planned to divorce Will because of his one-night-stand with Rose Jackson.

Will was determined not to let Kim “throw [him] out onto the street”, and in Monday’s (September 23) episode, the split turned contentious.

Viewers will remember that Will entered Emmerdale as a villain when he stalked former lover Harriet Finch just over five years ago, but he’d tried to reform his ways in recent years.

Will showed his dark side once again in the latest instalment as he took a series of steps to make Kim’s life miserable since she wouldn’t consider a reconciliation.

First, he turned to Kim’s arch-enemy Caleb Miligan to sell off his interest in the haulage firm. Because Kim owned part of the haulage firm as well, this would make her business partners with Caleb.

Elsewhere, Will resorted to trying to sell off Kim’s prized horses and vowed that he’d take Kim for everything she’s worth if she pursued a divorce.

“You’ve already seen what I’m capable of… Next time, I won’t hold back,” Kim warned.

Will tried to explain that it was “never about the money” between them, but Kim made it clear she no longer trusted him.

“You come onto my property again, I’ll call the police,” Kim vowed.

Her estranged husband countered that they’d now play “a new game” — one that wouldn’t stop until he made her life “a living hell”.

Back at Home Farm, Kim was warned by her financial adviser Peter that divorcing Will would be both costly and messy.

“This place means everything to me,” Kim explained. “I’ve taken a lot of risks. I’ve made so many sacrifices. I’d rather torch it all than let him take anything.”

At the pub, Kim was irate to find out from Will that he’d signed over his shares in the haulage firm after Caleb made a “very, very generous offer”.

Kim argued that Caleb had played Will by selling the haulage firm for a cheap price, adding: “[Caleb’s] the real winner here.”

“I told you it was ‘game on’, now deal with it,” Will fired back.

When Kim returned to Home Farm, she was shocked to find Will lounging on the sofa and watching telly. Will stunned Kim by revealing Caleb had referred him to a divorce lawyer.

“This is my home. If I leave, it weakens my case,” Will insisted. “I’ve also told [my lawyer] if [something] happens to me, you’re the prime suspect.”

Will bragged that his solicitor assured him that the prenup he’d signed with Kim wasn’t worth “the paper it’s printed on”. He threatened to go for half of everything Kim owns.

“You’re deluded if you think you’re going to get a penny out of me,” Kim promised. “If you want a war, you’ve got one!”

Has Will one-upped Kim in their divorce battle?
