Emmerdale’s Nicky Miligan considers his future in the village next week. Nicky confides in his boyfriend Suni Sharma about how ongoing tensions with his parents are affecting him.
Last month, Nicky clashed bitterly with his father Caleb, accusing the businessman of not taking him seriously enough. Caleb was later reminded of how much his son meant to him when he nearly lost Nicky in a dramatic car crash.
Sadly, things have only worsened since then, as Nicky is struggling with the terrible secret of how his mum Ruby deliberately knocked over Ethan Anderson in a revenge hit-and-run.
Ruby wanted Ethan to pay for the way he’d behaved on the day of the original crash, which saw him run away from the scene when Nicky was badly injured.
Next week, Nicky decides that it’s time to distance himself from both of his parents.
He suggests to Suni that they should consider moving away together.
As Suni has only just reconnected with his family in the village, will he be interested in leaving so soon?
Nicky joined Emmerdale in December 2022 and was initially introduced as a new nanny for Home Farm. He was later revealed as Caleb’s son, who was helping his father with a secret revenge mission against Kim Tate.
Suni arrived in the village in July 2023 and was central to a major Sharma family twist when he was revealed as Jai’s half-brother.
Meanwhile, Emmerdale recently revealed that Ethan’s cause of death will be confirmed later this week.
Ruby has been struggling with her guilt since Ethan died suddenly on the day of his court case. She believes that she must be to blame, as Ethan wasn’t checked over properly following the hit-and-run incident.
This week’s episodes see Charles inform Ruby that the coroner has confirmed why Ethan died. Will this ease the Miligan family tensions or make matters worse?
