Last week, Noah was forced to confess that he was responsible for grassing up his cousin Samson to the police over his attack on Josh Cope.
This made matters worse for Samson, as he was already in big trouble over his involvement in a recent robbery at The Hide and his lies about being deliberately stabbed by Matty Barton.
Amelia was upset over the thought of Samson being sent down for his various crimes, as he’s the father of her young daughter Esther.
Seeing Noah’s actions as a big betrayal, Amelia decided that it was time to end their relationship.
In Monday’s episode, Noah has accepted that it’s all over between him and Amelia. However, he still holds out hope of being part of Esther’s life, having become a father figure to her over the past year.
Noah approaches Amelia and asks about having access to the youngster. He’s left distraught when Amelia suggests that it’s better for everyone if he stays away from Esther from now on, giving them all a clean break.
After losing everything, what does the future hold for Noah?
Emmerdale aired Samson’s exit last week as he was sentenced to four years in jail.
Sam Hall, who played Samson, later commented: “So, as you’ve seen, Samson has now left the village. It’s been a great storyline, so I’d like to thank everyone who’s been with me, cast and crew, over the last 15 years.
“Hopefully, we’ll see Samson again.”
