Cast changes are continuing to dominate the soap headlines at the moment, with departures – both permanent and temporary – being revealed for some show favourites.
Meanwhile, this week has seen exciting confirmation of an ongoing Emmerdale mystery being resolved, as well as some early teasers on the next chapter of drama for The Six in EastEnders.
Did you miss any soap gossip this week? Don’t worry if so, as we’re on hand with our regular Sunday round-up of the biggest headlines from the past week.
Emmerdale has maintained a healthy dose of soap mystery over absent character Rose in the past few weeks. Is she dead or alive? Is Will hiding the truth over her whereabouts, or does Kim know more than she’s letting on? Kim did scarper to Dubai pretty quickly, after all.
Show bosses have promised that all will be revealed in Bank Holiday Monday’s episode (August 26) as Will is caught out over his role in the mystery. Luana Santos announced the news on Instagram this week, confirming that she’d completed her last day of filming.
Sharing a photo from the set, Luana wrote: “Last day with Corrie, thanks for everything. Drama school here I come.”

Teasing Jack’s future, Scott explained: “There’s obviously the ongoing scenario with The Six and trying to maintain some form of control over what they’re doing.
“He’s a policeman, and it’s handy to have a policeman in this situation to guide them a little bit. And he’s involved now, he’s in. So the stakes are very high, that’s where it’s goi
