Emmerdale icon Kim Tate has agreed to let Dawn Taylor’s estranged mother Rose live with her until she recovers from her injury, but will she live to regret the decision?
Emmerdale fans are convinced they have “worked out” Kim Tate’s (played by Claire King) murder plot against newcomer Rose (Christine Tremarco) after the newcomer made a cryptic comment.
During Tuesday’s episode of the ITV serial drama, Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) agreed to sit down with her long-lost mother Rose to ask her why she walked out on her as a child.
Rose bluntly replied: “It was you, but it was mainly me, I tried. I tried for five years. I didn’t want to be a mum back then, I know you’re not supposed to say that out loud.”
“No, not to your daughter,” a hurt Dawn replied before Rose added: “I’m far from perfect but I’m not that young girl who thinks she’s not good enough anymore.”
Despite the circumstances, Dawn decided to take Rose back to Home Farm, but Kim and Will Taylor, (Dean Taylor) who used to be married to Rose, were furious over the situation as they didn’t want her under their roof.
Later on, when Kim and Rose were alone in the house, the latter threatened the businesswoman by saying: “You don’t like losing do you, but you lost today. And if you come at me again you’ll lose again!”
The newcomer added: “Cheers to letting a fox into your lovely little hen house.”
The cryptic comment sparked a huge reaction from Emmerdale fans who shared their theories on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Matthew penned: “I don’t like cheap stuff in my house” as she glares at the unwanted guest lol. Gotta love Kim #emmerdale.”
A second added: “Queen Kim better get her lol #emmerdale.”
Doreen shared a picture of a digger and wrote: “Queen Kim – you’re going to need one of these for all those graves you have to dig in the woods
