Emmerdale viewers are convinced there could be a double pregnancy bombshell on the way following last week’s dramatic episodes – with a much-loved character set to die

Emmerdale viewers reckon the Dales are set for a double whammy of baby drama after last week’s edge-of-your-seat episodes. Thursday’s show had Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) envisioning her life in three alternate realities, giving fans a glimpse into what could be.

Tom confronted her: “How long is this going to go on for, Belle? ” As the Dingle favourite cried, Tom continued, “All day? A week? You completely humiliated me, any man would have done the same.”

He then tried to brush off the tension, saying: “Come on, clear yourself up, today is supposed to be a happy day. The five-month scan, remember? Honestly, Belle your memory is so shocking, it is actually kind of endearing.”

But the third twist was darker still, with Amelia and Tom as an item, planning their nuptials, only for it to emerge that Tom was dishing out abuse. It ended tragically with Amelia’s demise, reports the Express.

Belle clocked bruises on Amelia’s hand and cautioned her: “I know what he is like.” Despite Belle’s pleas for Amelia to ditch Tom, the menacing vet stormed in, livid.

The grim finale saw Amelia’s body being carted off, while Amy Wyatt (Laura Norton) mourned: “They can’t take her, she is just a kid.”

As the flashback scenario wrapped up, Tom was seen being comforted in The Woolpack after Amelia’s funeral. Despite these scenes merely hinting at what Belle’s future might entail, some sharp-eyed viewers reckon there could be a grain of truth to it.

Fans took to social media to share their theories, with one viewer posting: “I really hope she’s dreaming now and not really pregnant…# emmerdale.”

Another chimed in with: “Amelia ends up pregnant #emmerdale,” while a third echoed: “She’s pregnant #emmerdale.”

A different fan speculated: “#emmerdale Isn’t Tom King about 35? I bet he will get Amelia pregnant to get back at Belle for having an abortion.”
